1st Fridays 7:15-8:15pm
Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is the practice of conscious deep rest that systematically relaxes away and unwinds physical, energetic, and mental tensions. When we sleep, we often continue to hold unconscious and subconscious holding patterns and sometimes wake up still tired and exhausted. This practice helps us to break down these patterns through systematic relaxation, sensory control, and meditation to reach resting states usually only experienced in the deepest states of sleep. Just one hour in the practice of Yoga Nidra is equal to four hours of normal sleep, as we streamline our consciousness to intentionally rest and rejuvenate. No prior yoga or meditation experience needed.
